Litter B Diary
22.10.
The puppies are 8 weeks old and it is time to say goodbye.
They are dewormed for the fourth time, so they have also been vaccinated and microchipped. They are already quite good hunters.
The puppies have already been given names and assigned to their owners.
The puppies were given a very well-equipped "backpack" to their new homes😁
We will hear about all the puppies. Whether it is from the working field or from the exhibition field. We will post all the news on our Facebook, so don't forget to follow it. We will also post the info here in the LITTER B section

The puppies are 6 weeks old. They have been dewormed for the third time, and their claws have been trimmed again.
If the weather permits, they spend time in the garden, otherwise they are indoors, where they are getting hot.
They are fed 3 times a day with kibble, for snacks they have yogurt with fruit and sometimes biscuits a few times a week. For dinner they have meat with a side dish that disappears within a few minutes.
A veterinarian will come to us during the week to vaccinate and microchip the puppies.
The puppies have full milk teeth and a scissor bite, the males have undescended testicles.
The puppies are getting used to all the noise and noises both at home and in the garden. They are also used to different floors and smells. They all run confidently around our second large garden and are not afraid of anything.
It should be nice on Wednesday, so we plan to go take pictures of the show positions again.
We have added new photos from last week to our Facebook album.
22.9.
The puppies will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. They will be dewormed for the second time tomorrow and we will trim their claws for the second time.
The puppies have been going to the whelping box on absorbent pads for some time now. We have had pellets there for a few days now, which helps them clean better.
On the 18th day we tried the bowl for the first time to see how they did and were surprised. They all drank beautifully right away. So for a few days they had a bowl of milk twice a day.
Later we increased it to 3 portions a day and reduced the amount of nursing from the bitch a little during the day.
From the 3rd week we added a little porridge to the milk and the puppies were alone without the bitch at night.
They first learned to use the playpen outside, but it soon became too much for them. 🤣
They fly all over our yard and run around wherever they can.
They are getting used to the hustle and bustle of the household and also to various tools and garden tools.
Tomorrow at 4 weeks we have another photoshoot with our photographer. You can find the photos on our Facebook in the litter album soon.
Also this week the puppies will be moving to another larger room where they will have more space to move around. The plan is to add meat to the diet and also kibble.
Visiting season is also coming up for us and the door won't close. 😆 So I'm socializing the puppies as much as possible.
Every day you can find up-to-date photos and videos of puppies on our Instagram. ☺️

The puppies are a week old and all of them have already doubled their birth weight. All the puppies are very active. It is extremely difficult to take pictures of them calmly, let alone arrange them, as soon as you want to touch them, they are like little torpedoes, let alone hold them in your hand. So if things continue like this, we will have some nice shots in practice.
We have also done several photo shoots, all the photos can be found on our dog's fb in the litter album.

On Saturday, August 23rd, the mucus plug slowly started to come out. From Sunday, Chelsea began to gradually prepare the birthing box according to her own wishes.
We measured the temperature 3 times a day, but the temperature fluctuated quite a bit and never dropped below 37 degrees.
From Sunday to Monday we didn't get much sleep, she spent almost the whole night scratching in the crate. She started to turn her belly and didn't know how to lie down.
On Monday morning, her temperature finally dropped to 36.8 degrees. Since then, we have been impatiently waiting for further changes and when it will start. Nothing all day and evening, no signs of labor.
It wasn't until Tuesday morning at 2:30 that my water broke and the first puppy was born at 3:35, a burgundy female.
After a break, the black dog was born at 4:40. Then there was an even bigger gap, because she had to have something extra and we have very big puppies, so it tired her out more and the contractions got weaker. The next pink female was born at 6:25 and then there was a break of over two hours and it was already clear that Chelsea was not doing much. So we helped her with oxytocin and a little while later the green dog was born at 9 o'clock.
It seemed like there were not enough puppies to finish, but she still had some contractions, we went for an ultrasound, where we found nothing and in the afternoon we went for a check-up X-ray. So we have 4 puppies, all of them are beautiful and healthy, without white markings and Chelsea is getting better after giving birth and is doing a perfect job as a mother, but I am still with them day and night.

Dnes máme 61.den
We are about to give birth.
We have just had our second vaccination for Herpesvirus, where our wonderful veterinarian came to our house so that we wouldn't have to travel with our belly button. She checked Chelsea and everything went as expected.
We already have all the necessary things for the birth stacked next to the birthing box.
Chelsea is still in good spirits and very cheerful. We are already taking her body temperature and waiting for the D-day to arrive.

We are in our 7th week of pregnancy. Today we are already in our 50th day of pregnancy and we are slowly approaching the end.
Chelsea je krmena 4x denně po menších porcích. Granule skoro odmítá, takže je převážně krmena masem s přílohou a vitaminy.
U porodní bedny již máme připraveno vše k porodu. Chelsea si už sama ráda chodí do bedny lehnout a odpočívat .

We are 6 weeks pregnant.
Chelsea is very voracious, but will only eat what she wants. As her uterus grows, she cannot eat large amounts of food at once, so she is now fed 3 times a day in smaller portions.
She would still fly around outside and God forbid if we see a cat in the garden, so I have to tame her enough to keep her from flying and jumping. But at home she sleeps all the time.
We have finished the renovation of the house where the puppies will be born. It took a while, but we got it done. So we have a new whelping box in the new one and Chelsea is gradually starting to settle in. 😊
23.7.2025
We are about halfway through the pregnancy. Chelsea still refuses kibble alone, so she gets meat with side dishes and supplements. Plus she gets vitamins every day.
You can already see how her belly is getting bigger, she is very sleepy at home. She is always following me like a tail. 😆
Today we ran out of packages, which included a playpen for puppies, kibble, formula milk, puppy porridge, calcium for Chelsea, extra colostrum in case the puppy is weaker, and finally a large toilet when the puppies are bigger so they can go to the bathroom where they need to.
17.7.2025
Already from the 16th day of coverage, I began to observe strong changes in Chelsea.
Her personality suddenly changed from a cuddly and active dog to a cruelly clingy, lazy one and she wouldn't take a step without me. As soon as I turned my head somewhere, she would be right next to me and lie down immediately.
She didn't want to eat from day 18. And she never leaves a single kibble and would do a somersault for a crumb. Suddenly she didn't want anything. So I had to pull out the raw meat, which she at least got a little bit into. I even started to notice changes on her belly. So there were signals, but I was very impatiently waiting for confirmation.
So on Thursday, July 17th, we had a long day, because we didn't set off until the afternoon. And we can happily confirm that we can look forward to seeing little greys in our kennel at the end of August.
3.7.2025
On the 10th day after mating we went to our vet for a check-up and vaccination against the Herpes virus. Chelsea's weight is currently 31.5kg.
24.6.2025 ~ 15.den
Even though we wanted to cover on Wednesday, the vulva started to slowly shrink. We went for the cover on Tuesday, but at least late in the evening.
They were tied up again in a moment, but it was already clear that things were getting worse, even though they both wanted it so badly.
They were tied up for 35 minutes.
23.6.2025 ~ 14.den
On Monday morning we set off for Poland to Torun for Dakar. The total distance for us was 1300km including the return trip. We checked in, checked where everything was and set off 20 minutes to the owner's place.
So the mating was in the afternoon, we arrived at the owner's property and waited for Dakar to be released. We were expecting a long foreplay, but it wasn't much 😃. They ran a few times and the second time was probably over. They were tied for over 40 minutes.
12.den
We went for progesterone again and it came out at 5.66ng, which means Chelsea is starting to ovulate. Compared to last year's litter, she ovulates earlier. So we'll go for mating in two days.
9.den hárání
We went for the first progesterone test. The result was 2.8ng, we will go again in three days.
10.6.2025
Chelsea unexpectedly started to get hot earlier for us.
