Puppies from our kennel

We always plan a litter long ahead. We pick the mating dog very carefully. We focus on exterior, personality, abilities and health of the dog.

By paying attention to the health of our kennel, both our dogs and the offspring, we select a dog for mating that is not only successful at shows or in the working field. We are looking for a dog that has more health tests than just the mandatory or basic ones. Both parents will have an above-standard examination. So the puppies will automatically be negative for diseases that have been ruled out in both parents. I require hip and elbow x-rays for both parents.

The female is well taken care of. We choose the appropriate type of dog food, food supplements and health exams so that the mom and her puppies are healthy.

Puppies will leave our kennel dewormed, chipped, vaccinated and with an international pet passport, so you can take them anywhere in the world. They’ll also have their pedigree and you’ll get a puppy manual. Every puppy will receive a package with dog food that we used, toys, a collar and much more.

These puppies will grow up in a house where they will be getting used to the hustle of a family life.

Over time, they will be moved to the yard with the living area of ​​the house, where they will learn more new things from the outdoors. At this point, you will be able to come to visit us. And slowly choose your new family member. Of course, I will help you with the choice. I will tell you which puppy will be more suitable for work, exhibitions, which will be calmer for a family companion. The final distribution of puppies to their new owners will be between 5-6 weeks of age. This is so that we can at least get to know their own nature, character. See their exterior, attitude, and so on.

They will also be used to other dogs than just their mother, children, many people of different ages, and they will also be riding in our car for the first time.

We want to get to know each interested party, we want to know where the puppy will go and most importantly, we want to know that it will be properly cared for. Our greatest wish is that the puppy will be accepted as a member of the family, so that it receives as much love as possible.

If you decide to take your dog to exhibitions, trials, other cynological activities, or even breed it, we will be thrilled.

Breeding service is a matter of course. I will be happy to advise on upbringing, training, exhibitions, tests, breeding, necessary documentation, mating, presentation and so on. 🙂

I communicate with all the puppies almost on a daily basis. We also have a group where we write to each other, send photos, plan meetings and I also post shows, trainings and tests here.

On our social networks you will see the progress of the pregnancy, the female's housing and from the birth of the puppies you will see photos and videos of the babies every day as they grow and develop. Over time you will also see the puppies in the show position and their reactions to animals.

If you would like to meet our female, from whom you would like a puppy or even a stud dog, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We offer everyone the opportunity to get to know the dogs and us without obligation. We will go for a walk together. Here you will see their behavior, temperament, ... I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

 

DURING PUPPY BREEDING

Those interested in puppies who will adopt a puppy from the current litter will be able to visit us from the 4th week of the puppies' age. Visits will be possible by appointment both during the working week and at the weekend. We will try to accommodate everyone.

I was asked if you could bring something for the dogs, and you certainly can. If you would like to bring something for the puppies or the litter mother, they would definitely be happy to do so. The mother likes any kind of meat treats, canned food. High-quality canned meat, soft meat treats, biscuits are ideal for puppies. If you would like to take something other than food, the puppies will definitely not disdain a squeaky toy or a stuffed animal.

I usually reply to emails the same day or the day after, but I always try to be as quick as possible.

In the email I send basic information about the litter, approximate price (the price always varies depending on the selected parents, i.e. what kind of shows, titles, exams, health tests, pedigree they have, whether it is a foreign or domestic mating, etc.)

After confirming your reservation, I will put you on the waiting list.

After confirming the pregnancy, I will inform you whether the mating was successful and the bitch is pregnant.

After the puppies are born, I will contact you again to let you know whether we have a puppy for you.

We will collect a non-refundable reservation fee for the puppy from final buyers who confirm the collection of the puppy. The reservation fee will be deducted from the total price. The remaining amount is paid when the puppy is collected.

 

Puppy take-over

Puppies can be collected no earlier than 8 weeks of age. By agreement, collection is possible both during the week and at the weekend.

When collecting the puppy, we will discuss the puppy manual together, it describes the correct feeding, basic upbringing, training, deworming schedule, vaccinations and much more. I will hand over the contract together with the pedigree, vaccination certificate and a comprehensive package to get started.

 

Price of the puppy

The price of a puppy depends on the quality of a particular mating of two individuals, whether it is a domestic or foreign mating.

It depends on their work and exhibition achievements, health tests, and pedigree.

The purchase price is only a small part for the breeder, they will invest many times more money in the dog over its entire life.

 

One application for an exhibition costs approximately 1000 CZK - 3000 CZK, sometimes much more, depending on whether it is a Regional, National, International or even World Exhibition and also whether it is in our country or abroad. I do not include gasoline, accommodation and food. For example, Chelsea was at 25 exhibitions in her first year and a half of life. Which alone exceeds the purchase price. And we do not count the exhibitions throughout her entire life.

The hunting exam costs around 1000 CZK-2500 CZK, that's just for the application. Before it itself, there are hundreds of hours of training.. both at home and with a trainer, you have to arrange a hunt, animals. One lesson will cost around 500-1500 CZK per lesson, depending on which trainer. And you really need a lot more lessons than just one.

Genetic tests range from 1000 CZK-3000 CZK per test. X-rays from 3000 CZK-5000 CZK. Heart examination for DCM 2000 CZK, which must be performed for bitches before each mating and for dogs every calendar year.

 

Therefore, it is very different whether a bitch and a dog have the basis for breeding or whether the parents have more tests, show titles and genetic tests.

 

– At the same time, each breeder offers a different comprehensive breeding service. So it also depends on what you require from your breeder in terms of experience and knowledge.

– the price for a standard puppy in the Czech Republic ranges from approximately 25,000 CZK – 50,000 CZK

- non-standard puppies - discount according to agreement (dog cannot go to breeding, for example - bite defect, both testicles do not descend in males, kinked tail,...)

 

Male or female?

Tricky question. Many people say that female dogs are more cuddly. But on the contrary, I know males who are cuddly much more than some female dogs.

We start observing their nature from puppyhood, so when choosing, we can already tell who is more cuddly.

If you don't plan on breeding and just want a dog as a pet, I can say that a male is a better choice.

For females, we have to count on heat twice a year, and the female may also suffer from false pregnancy and mood swings.

During this time, we are not allowed to attend exhibitions, trials, or cynological events.

We don't have to deal with this with a dog, if you have mastered the upbringing and training, you don't have to worry about the dog wanting to chase the bitch and running away.

We have a male and a female at home and everything can be taught. Even when the female is in heat, they sleep together on the bed in our presence and work together outside.

The only thing is that males sometimes have a greater temperament, some are more dominant, so the only thing that is needed is to get them used to the same sex from a young age so that they don't cause unnecessary fights.
